DELAD organised its fifth workshop around corpora of speech with communication disorders (CSD). This workshop was held online on 27-28 Jan. 2021.

This was the programme:

27 January 2021 (Times in CET):

  • 10:00 – 12:00 Presentations by researchers about their CSD  (with a break)
  • 12:00 – 12:30 Informal lunch meetings
  • 14:00 -15:00 Help from DELAD and the CLARIN Centre for Atypical Communication Expertise (ACE) in sharing CSD (Henk van den Heuvel – Radboud University)
  • 14:50 – 15:00 Break
  • 15:00 – 16:00 How to access and deposit existing data at CLARIN centres, profiles of metadata, licenses (Paul Trilsbeek – The Language Archive, Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics)

28 JANUARY 2021 (Times in CET):

  • 10:00 -12:00 Introduction into Data Protection Impact Assessments in GDPR context, and role play in applying these for CSD  (Esther Hoorn, University of Groningen)
  • 12:00 – 12:30 Informal lunch meetings
  • 14:00 -15:00 Keynote Rob van Son: Use voice conversion for pseudonymisation?
  • 1500 – 15:15 Break
  • 15:15 – 15:45 Wrap up session
  • 16:00 – Virtual toast
